THE COURSE

Autologous stem cell therapy in the field of regenerative medicine involves harvesting, isolating the stem and regenerative cells from adipose tissue, bone marrow and /or peripheral blood and administering the cells back to the patient.

Efficient, validated compliant office- based method for isolating adipose, blood and bone marrow derived stem cells.

The course curriculum consists of comprehensive theoretical lecture and home study education, two days didactic and clinical experience.

One day of post-educational on-site clinical assistance is also available upon request.

OBJETIVES FOR THE STEM CELL TRAINING COURSE.

01.BIOLOGY

Describe the basics of cellular biology and list the properties that define stem cells. Identify the various types of cellular divisions and types of stem cells, along with their characteristics.

02.PLATELET RICH PLASMA

Define Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and identify the growth factors and proteins that cause the natural healing cascade. List currently treated conditions, such as orthopedic conditions, treated with Platelet Rich Plasma.

03.iPS

Describe Induced Pluripotent (iPS) Stem Cells and recall the criterion that defines a true iPS, as well as some of the clinical applications of iPS.

04.ADSCs

Describe how Adipose Derived Stem Cells (ADSCs) function, recognize the conditions treated by ADSCs, and recall how to isolate ADSCs.

05.BMDSCs

Describe how Bone Marrow Derived Stem Cells (BMDSCs) function, recognize the conditions treated by BMDSCs, and recall how to isolate BMDSCs.

06.CONDITIONS AND GUIDELINES

List conditions currently treated with cellular therapies and incorporate guidelines to improve comprehension of current research and evidence for stem cell therapy.
